when will you provide us all the documentations promise on the Kickstarter project ?

Wifi,blutooth and xbee control ?
Computer vision ?

On the original Ringo1 robot (the one with the ribbon cable to the programmer) you need to set Source_Select to HIGH, otherwise it is going to read the voltage of the motor capacitors (which after we actually made the robots we realized we didn't need because it is generally stable). This Source_Select is the same line that selects between the ambient light sensors and the bottom light sensors - so just set the robot to read the ambient sensors, then you can read the ADC on this channel (ADC0) to read the battery voltage.

On the Ringo2 robot, we got rid of the source select for the battery/motor. It now always reads the battery, so there's no need to care what the Source_Select is set to, since we don't need the Motor_Cap reading for anything.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
-Kevin

I mean, the column that represents the battery level channel 6 in my case is a number around 580 or 570 that represents the battery level of charge, isnt? How can i translate this number into voltage units?
Thanks

They are basically identical, except we have take the external programmer board hardware from the first Ringo and put it directly on the robot - so no longer a need for a programmer board - just a direct USB connection to the robot for charging and programming.

There is no way to "reset" the robot, but it sounds like one of the motors isn't making contact with the surface. You may need to slide the motor down a bit in the clip that holds it. Just be careful of the wires going into the motor, and if you need to slide it upward, don't press directly on the motor shaft.

Let me know if that works.

Thanks,
-Kevin

A lot of complaints if you search. Here is just one on the raspberry pi forum.

https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... p?t=140845

Not sure it is related to the I/O lines.. Maybe it is just my Pi. I got another Pi 3 to try sometime.
I just got extremely busy. Warm weather and rain.. Grass growing.. No time...

And I am not blaming you. How were you to know that the raspberry pi was going to have problems.
There are a ton of projects and shields that seem to work perfectly fine.. I am guessing it
is a weird combination of hardware and some drivers that were not fully developed.

I just thought with 600 Kickstarter backers that there would be a bit more development and enthusiasm from the community.
