For those like me who are having trouble with the "GetHeading" function (mentioned in the "Using Ringo's Navigation" chapter of the guide); I have found a solution in this forum post:


As described, the correct function name is "PresentHeading()" and not "GetHeading()".

Apparently the search feature is not finding this occurrence so I decided to create a new post hoping that it will be easier to find.

The guide seems to be written using Adobe's InDesign and unfortunately I don't have this software otherwise I would submit a fix request directly on GitHub.
