The rainbow was awesome
The behaviors persist after a reboot, so a reimage is the next step for me.

Re: volts.py output problem
gpvillamil, Thank you for the speed settings, the sketch uploaded and ran properly! :) The speed that the Aurduino is using to communicate to the PIC over I2C is too fast for the BusPirate to capture, so I don't have any useful data there. I managed to corrupt the installation of Raspbian on the PI,...

Re: volts.py output problem
Hi gpvilamil, That explanation makes sense, thank you. I uploaded the code uploaded to the Spirit Rover. I switched my serial monitor over to 57600 baud, and this is what I got on the serial monitor: ⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮ All of the lights on my Rover turned on, and I'm guessing the R G B values maxed out, it wa...

Re: volts.py output problem
I sat down to run the process by using Arduino instead, to see what I could learn. Sometimes I do pretty badly with various Arduino things... I hard a hard time figuring out how I should be storing the value returned from PIC_ReadPower(), I eventually gave up and started testing the serial monitor, ...

Re: volts.py output problem
I switched the I2C baudrate for my pi by editing the /boot/config.txt file. I changed the value for the i2c_arm_baudrate from 400000 to 100000 dtparam=i2c_arm_baudrate=100000 And rebooted. I reran the volts.py script and got the same error, Wrong Register Replied. I reran the i2c traffic capture wit...

Re: volts.py output problem
I have a BusPirate, and it does an ok job of capturing I2C traffic. I set it up, and ran the voltage.py script. Here is the output I received: (2) Sniffer Any key to exit [][0x0B-]][[][[]][0xED-[][][][][[[0xF7-][[][][][[0xDB+] I'm not very good at interpreting I2C traffic, so I'm not quite sure what...
