Re: Imperial March
Trent & daughter, Great job guys, works and is very recognisable. Did you use any tools to help with the notes? I'd love to find a simple tool that takesvan audio file and gives me the notes and delays as i'm useless at music. Itd be great to make some happy, sad, bored, angry sounds to help giv...

Re: stopped going straight
Are you sure the motor isn't spinning? Check it hasn't wound a hair around the shaft that might be effecting it. Also the motors can slide in their holders, check they are the same length and you havent pushed one in too far which means it wont run straight, you might have to push/pull the motors to...

Re: My computer does not respond.
Read the instructions, dont plug anything in. http://www.plumgeek.com/getting-started.html gives clear instructions to follow, you install drivers first. Ringo is not a plug and play usb device like a thumbdrive. Make sure to carefully read the supplied instructions and follow them in the order give...

Line Following
I got inspired recently to play with the line following capabilities of Ringo and exploring his sensors. I avoiding looking at the example code until I had my own working code and both essentially do the same basic motion. I tested both on a couple of tracks made with black electricians tape and fou...

Correct, Ringo and Wink will start charging their batteries once they are connected to power. The red charging light comes on while its charging and goes off when its battery is full.

Re: Can't program
It doesnt matter what usb port you connect the ringo too, and it doesn't " show up " in the operating system. You do NOT connect it with a usb cable to program it, you Must use the programming board cable to connect to ringo and the usb cable connects to that. It DOES matter that you follo...

Re: Wink Robot
This reply is from my memory, i dont have my dev machine and ringo at hand to test: First upload the current demo behaviours, rev06 i believe. Look at the code and make sure its the one with ten checks for the remote to decide on behaviours, this is to make sure you're uploading the right code. Make...

Wink technical details?
at the bottom of http://www.plumgeek.com/ringo.html is a technical details section showing the Ringo components (what they are and where they are located). Is the same available for Wink? I cant find it anywhere. I'm after the same details, not a general list of what Wink has.

Re: Wink Issue.
Press the power button (PWR) to turn on the Wink, ignore the charging light, Wink needs to be turned On for serial connection to work.
