Trouble Programming Arduino
Posted: Sat Feb 24, 2018 3:58 pm
I found another post that tells what to set the environment to:
Set the board type to “Arduino Pro or Pro Mini” and the processor type to “ATMega328p 3.3v 8mhz”
NOTE: Kevin the Docs (PDF) should be changed to add this. it currently says the board is UNO.
I have used the Arduino Programmer before (Neopixel googles from Adafruit).
I installed the FTDI driver and it shows up as COM3 when I plug the Rover in.
I loaded the PiControl BaseSketch and am able to compile it. Whne I go to upload I get the error below.
Should I choose a different board? the docs says the Rover is a Uno.
When I look at the Board Info I get:
BN: Unknown board
VID: 0403
PID: 6015
SN: Upload any sketch to obtain it
Arduino: 1.8.5 (Windows Store 1.8.10.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Uno"
Sketch uses 6826 bytes (21%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 642 bytes (31%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1406 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.
